My first attempt at a translation from Japanese :)

Notes:

1) The first sentence can also read "The room(s) was/were very clean/lovely and comfortable."

2) I used "I/me" as pronouns in the second sentence, although it could just as easily have been "we/us".

3) The first character in the second sentence translates as "inn/lodging", but from what I can read in the source text's comments, it appears to be a bed and breakfast, so I used that instead.

4) I say "pizza place", but only because "pizza parlour" sounds old-fashioned, and "pizza store/restaurant" don't sound right to me either.
