Title
From our summer love has become.
Translation
English

Translated by EllenS
Target language: English

From our summer love has become...
With three we will be from now on.
Hand in hand we walk trough life.
____________is the name we want our son to have.

Born on

.... August 2007

If you want to see our big sweet .
Call as he might be asleep.
At ... hour he saw the light
He is ... cm tall and ... gram his weight right.
Remarks about the translation
I tried to keep the rhyme but to do so the translation is not litterly at all.
David: you are no poet! Oh well, let the voters figure it out.

I like how Ellen took the rhyming into account; this is a very hard thing to do when translating!

Although; "From our summer love has become..."
=> "Beget from our summer love" is what it says.

"His weight right" => maybe "that's his weight alright!" to keep the rhyme.

I like the last sentence. That's indeed much better.
I'm indeed no poet but birth cards are very personal and new parents are kind of softy about those things.

As I'm new at this I'm wondering who is allowed to change that last sentence. Am I supposed to do it or does an administrator do this?
