A person can be happy in life only when he doesn't worry about the world. Those of you who can't understand why I don't worry about the world - don't worry about me either! |

Also, the concept of "boÅŸvermek" needs to be repeated in the second half of the second sentence too - otherwise it doesn't make sense. But I can see why you didn't want to say "don't care about me" - that sounds strange in English. How about if we find a different verb that could be used in all three places? How about "not worry about"?
2) I don't know where you got the idea of "snap your fingers" - I've never heard that with this meaning.
3) "You all" is not correct English, but you can say "Those of you". | | | 30 July 2008 23:44 | | handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | I especially avoid repeating the same words, indeed. then it becomes like that:
One can be happy in his life, only when he doesn't worry about the world. Those of you -who can't get why I don't worry about the world- don't worry about me either!
(I knew that "snap your fingers at" as "to disregard". Am I wrong?)
btw, could I say "All of you who can't get why I don't worry about the world-..."?? Is this wrong too?
and thanks for your help

Yes, please make the changes you wrote in your last post. BTW, you should put spaces both before and after the "-".
Suggestion: Instead of saying "can't get", you can make it simpler by using the more common "can't understand" - that has only one meaning.
Also, don't forget "those of you" instead of "all of you". | | | 1 August 2008 23:42 | | handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | done! thanks a lot for your help | | | 2 August 2008 01:34 | | | I made a couple more edits before I accepted it - I hope you're OK with them. | | | 2 August 2008 03:34 | | | | | | 2 August 2008 05:28 | | | | | | 2 August 2008 13:11 | | handyyNumber of messages: 2118 | It's OK Kafetzou, thanks. |
