According to http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMT yes.
Also could use "UTC". There is explained, that in all languages is usable "UTC"...

That's right, I know. In the 2/3 part of first paragraph on wikipedia-page I've indicated there is written: "A ese tiempo se le llama en todas las lenguas UTC (Tiempo Universal Coordinado)."

En español se usa el término inglés para indicar la zona horaria (o huso horario). España está por ejemplo en la zona GMT+1 ó GMT+2 según la época del año. Pero no existe una traducción de la abreviatura al español.
