마지막 글 | | | | | 2007년 9월 24일 16:01 | | | Ahem! Interesting case. I don't know if the translation done by xristos is right or wrong though from what I've noticed his translations are good.
Now the reason for this note is this:
a) are we OK with the original text? I personally don't have a problem with it but I thought I'd better ask.
b) Xristos, chose to translate to of the words by their initials since the very, very vulgar expression used as either an exact translation or an equivalent is so well known to Greeks he could very well NOT use the initials at all (Σου το που σε Ï€Îταξε would be enough ). So what's our policy on this case? | | | 2007년 9월 24일 16:51 | | | I don't know - it seems OK to me. I'm guessing someone received this note in Albanian and wants to know what it means - now he knows!
| | | 2007년 9월 24일 16:52 | | | P.S. I'd validate it without putting it to a poll. We know that xristos's Albanian is good, so why subject more people to this vulgar language? | | | 2007년 9월 25일 21:53 | | | No, no, I am not suggesting that xristos' translation is not good! I was just intrigued by his clever method of not using vulgar words and getting the message through and was wondering if we should use this or just write the words out.
I will validate this one after I edit it to add some dots so that the equivalences tables don't get f.up . | | | 2007년 9월 26일 05:36 | | | I almost s-t my pants from laughing!
| | | 2007년 9월 26일 05:37 | | | P.S. I was not saying that I thought you thought Xristos' translation wasn't good - I was just suggesting that you could skip the poll in this case. But now I understand what you were asking! |
