Turkish

Translated by UZMAN TERCÃœMAN
Target language: Turkish

hepimiz bir odada toplanır, kemerlerimizi sıkar, tartışmaya girişirdik
hepimiz yavaşlar, suçluluk duymadan dinlenir, korkusuzca yalan söylemez, yargılamaksızın çekişirdik

Remarks about the translation
BİR ÇEVİRİ YAPARKEN YAZININ TÜMÜNE BAKILMALIDIR. UYGUN KELİMELER ONA GÖRE ÇEVRİLMELİDİR. ÇEVİRİLEN KISIMDAKİ KELİMELER VE METİNİN BÜTÜNÜNDEKİ KELİMELERİN KARŞILIĞI AYNI OLMALIDIR. YOKSA ANLAMDA KAYMA OLUR. (UZMAN TERCÜMAN)
------
son cümledeki "sans" Fransızca'dır ve "without" anlamındadır (smy)

Hello IanMegill! Could you tell me if the word "sans" in the last line (disagree sans judgement) is in French and if it is, does it mean "without"?

Yes, the meaning seems to be that we could disagree without judging that the other person is "stupid" or "bad" or something.
"Be free to disagree with each other, without making negative judgments about each other"?
Hmmm...
PS: sorry I'm so late in answering you: I was sick...

Hi!
Yes, I've heard you were sick , I wish you may recover soon , thanks for the explanation, I understand that part but I need a little more help on it, should the whole text be read this way? (with punctuations and so on)

"we would gather around all in a room, fasten our belts, engage in dialogue, we'd all slow down, rest without guilt, not lie without fear, disagree sans/without judgement"
is it correct to read this way?

smy, I can see how good your English is!
That's exactly where a native speaker would put commas in!
