The meaning is ok but some of the feeling and poetic formulation seems to have got lost in the translation, mainly because the sentence has been split in two and because 'in' has been removed / avoided.

Just a suggestion, I'm happy to help brainstorming if you like:

Know in that love
I want to share with you
Not just any love
But love for life

As for 'faith', this may very well be what was intended - but another equally possible translation (I think) would be 'Believe' (as in, 'believe me'. In Dutch, 'belief', 'believe' and 'faith' all look exactly the same. Maybe the requester can tell us which meaning she meant.

Het gevoel lijkt er een beetje uit ja. Maar de eerste zin vond ik prima: "understand that love". Toch?
Wat ik bedoel met geloof is: geloof dit. "Believe", is wel een betere vertaling met wat ik bedoel.

Dus:

Understand this love,
I want to share with you.
Not just any love,
but love for life.

Believe.
