I changed that sentence too...I forgot the "mer" so i didn't understand the "än"... 
Now let's wait for the English experts.
There is a point about comparative...I don't understand why shouldn't it be "sorrier"...sometimes I find the "more+adj" form instead of the "adj+ER", also if the adjective has 2 syllables only... | | |
