Title
scendo in spiaggia davanti all'oceano che mi...
Text
Submitted by ziogatto
Source language: Italian

scendo in spiaggia
davanti all'oceano che mi ruggisce
ed io ruggisco in risposta
Remarks about the translation

The translation would be:
"i tip-toe down to the shore
stand by the ocean
make it roar at me
and i roar back"

"in response" è perfetto.. io avrei scritto "I roar it back".. così.. spontaneo!

In italian there is not continuative form, so " I go down to the beach" should be used instead of "Going down to the beach"

You're right, I go down to the beach is better "I roar it back" doesn't make sense in English... it would have to come before the verb, and then you couldn't have I...
