English is Ok, I just was wandering is it would be more natural making the sentence :

For not being able to sightsee anything, the traveller will leave the place.
or
For not having been able...

What do you think?

yeah,that is more natural, but the turkish has the same problem:
there is no cause and effect relationship expressed between
the not seeing and the leaving.
it reads more descriptive or even making a prediction about the future
there are several ways of expressing 'For not ' in turkish, none of them are used in the source
so i think it was deliberate on the part of the turkish
i could be wrong about that, if so the poll will tell hopefully
