I've changed the translation and suggested three other possibilities. The translation depends on the function you want to give to the sentence.
The first and the second, beginning with Aprovechamos and Empleamos, are possible meanings. But I would rather prefer the third one, beginning with destinamos, even though it seems less literal, because I think it keeps the meaning but it is very natural and has an advertising style.
The choice is yours or at least requires a discussion. The translator cannot decide completely. Good luck! | | | 21 July 2010 18:30 | | | Hola muchachos, mi sugerencia:
"Sacamos provecho de la tecnologÃa de análisis de visión avanzada para evitar y atenuar las colisiones de vehÃculos." | | | 21 July 2010 18:42 | | | I agree totally with lilian canale in "evitar" and "atenuar". But not specially in "sacamos provecho de": it doesn't sound like advertising. I don't think this is the best context to use these expression first because is too long and second because "Aprovechamos" and "sacamos provecho" can be a synonym, but "Aprovechamos" emphasizes the action and the goal, but "sacar provecho" has the connotation of using, of benefit or advantage, and focusing on the material or object. | | | 21 July 2010 19:27 | | | También podrÃa ser: "Nos valemos de la tecnologÃa..." | | | 22 July 2010 11:44 | | | De acuerdo, muy buena opción: "nos valemos". No se me habÃa ocurrido. Se nota que algunos teneis mucha experiencia |
