Target language: German

Schick Daniels Bilder später. Küsse und schöne Grüße. Erzähl etwas von deinem Leben in Buenos Aires und, wie es mit deinem Unterricht geht.
Remarks about the translation
1. besos y un abrazo: En realidad traducido de forma literal significa "Küsse und Umarmungen", pero nadie en Alemania "envía abrazos" en las cartas o por lo menos en más de una década de vivir acá jamás lo he vivido, es por eso que he cambiado los abrazos por "saludos" (schöene Grüeße)

Hi Merdogan, thank you for your comment. There are two things that should be taken in consideration:

1. "Ich küsse und arme dich um" will be used seldom in German and only if you are writting to someone very very close as for example your husband/wife or your sister/brother or a friend who is really very very near to you, it is just too familiar and intimate for the german way of thinking.

2. "Besos y abrazos" or "besos y un abrazo" in Spanish can mean kisses and hugs for you but also can mean hugs and kisses for you and your family, there is no way to know in this context who is meant here ;o).

For the reasons above I did not consider using "Ich küsse und arme dich um"

A hugh is not 'schöne Grüsse', but 'eine Liebkosung'

sahinal, you should read the notes about the translation before. I explained clearly why I took "schöne Grüße", and you are not seriously suggesting to translate "hug" as "liebkosung" aren't you?
