- The original is all in present tense. For the last sentence, however, I thought using the conditional and then future in french was more appropriate. - "als de tijd er rijp voor is" - "when the time is ripe" I found a little difficult to translate literally in French. "au moment voulu" encapsulates it the least awkwardly, I think.
