Maybe it's a mispelling of "τον" (him, "το" instead of "τον" ), but I can't be sure about that either. There is an "it" in the original and I feel that something is missing if I translate "don't just look..."
I would translate "Κι εγώ" as "I ... too" (the "too" goes after "back", and I would say "don't" instead of "do not" - it sounds more natural that way.
