- "old fairy" makes it sound a little bit like "aged fairy", which I doubt is meant... ( at any rate, the French says "ancienne", not "vieille" ).
Wouldn't "former fairy" be the right answer, here? I think the idea is that the person writting my be the addressee's former girlfriend or something... Ninouu can tell us if I'm right or wrong, of course.
Of course "old" can work, too ( as in "an old friend" ), but I just think it's a little more ambiguous...

C'est marrant, j'allais dire exactement la même chose, je pense que je vais éditer avec "former", parceque "old", ça fait vieille peau quand même!

Gosh - I don't know what to say. I wish we had another word for "fairy", because "old fairy" really sounds like a slang word for "old gay man".

So, what about "former fairy" kafetzou?
doesn't sound too "repentant"?

LOL - no, I think "former fairy" is fine, although we might say "angel" more frequently for this kind of relationship, but I think the English is just being used as a bridge here, and "angel" has more religious connotations in other languages, so let's leave it as is.
