Medical translations are tricky. I spent some time reading on AFP and My translation was not done 100% word-by-word but it was a compromise between keeping the exact meaning using as close a number of words as possible. In my translation I used the word "molecola" because you used the word "molecule". Perhaps you should have used the word "proteine". If so, just replace "molecola" with "proteina". Cheers, marco.
