A couple of days before Abraham Lincoln was murdered, he told his wife and one of their mutual friends about a strange dream he had:

I went through a white house, I could not see anyone, but I heard loud cries that came from the big hall. There, I found some people standing around a dead man, a handkerchief concealed his face.

Who has been killed?- I asked an officer
-"Don't you know that the president was shot this afternoon?", he replied. Those words woke me up.

J'ai donnÃ© un avis favorable mais hÃ©site sur 3 points : about a strange dream he had : I would say : about a strange dream he had HAD (Je connais le rÃ¨gles pour le simple past). Kunne ikke se nogen,signifie : I couldn't see anyone or better : I could see noone or nobody. I found some people that were standing..... couldn't we say : I found some people standing....Peut-Ãªtre un peu moins "lourd". Juste mon avis.
