There are, of course, several similar sentences , but any exact duplicate; so I think that there is no need to delete it (even if I would have written, perhaps: "à minha...")

BTW...in Portuguese the verb "amar" is not followed by "a" like it is in Spanish

I was not sure about the preposition, because when searching in Cucumis a while ago, I have found twice or thrice "Eu amo à minha familia". This has made me doubt.
(Had I been completely sure, I would have waited for the text to be edited before translating. I assumed that both ways could be right).
