Hello,
I was just asked to help evaluate the French translation by comparing it to the English one. But in doing so I was surprised to find that the English translation did not make sense. I don't speak Turkish, but from what I can tell based on the French translation and a Turkish to English dictionary, it should say: "I think that I made a big mistake, and I will pay for it dearly."
"hardly" means "scarcely", "barely", "not much at all". And "compensate", besides requiring the preposition "for", doesn't quite have the right meaning for what was intended.
