Hm, the first sentence is not wrong but a bit confusing, Alex, because that could also be interpreted as "I'm gonna win forever!". What about using "in animo habere" (=I intend) in such a case?

When it comes to the second one, I'm not sure whether we can use the verb "servare" for a phrasal verb "save from sth". Maybe "libera" could go instead (like in a prayer "Pater noster": "...et libera nos a malo" ). What do you think, Alex?

Hi Aneta!

1) Yes, of course, we can try to find a less ambiguous translation. Even if (I suppose) my translation is grammatically correct and ambiguities do occur in all languages.

2) I've read that the verb servare with ab/ex + ablative case means "to save from somebody/something". However I really like your suggestion and it sounds more natural in Latin.

Ok Alex. But "A me ipso me libera" would sound even more Latin.
