He received a certificate from Rasim. He studied mathematics with Sidki. He lectured at the BostancÄ± Centre as a professor and taught calligraphic scripts. He became the mullah of Salonica in 1191.

Remarks about the translation	- "fut diplÃ´mÃ©" fait un peu bizarre, vu la date (1191), mais j'ai du mal Ã voir comment traduire autrement l'anglais "received a certificate" - J'ai choisi le passÃ© simple Ã©tant donnÃ© le moment oÃ¹ tout cela se passe.
