| | It should be: "Ich vermisse, deine Stimme zu hören" |
| | 1 August 2007 22:21 |

| | "I miss" is present, not past. => "Ich vermisse, deine Stimme zu hören" |
| | 6 August 2007 06:09 |
| | Ich glaube auch, daß es im Präsens sein sollte. CC: Rumo |

| | It's a "meaning only" request, so all this discussion is not necessary to satisfy the request. I will edit and validate. |
| | 17 August 2007 01:25 |
| | I guess not. It seems I cannot edit nor accept/reject this translation. |

| | You are not an expert for German nor an administrator, but I am the latter so I can do it (and I will). |
| | 17 August 2007 17:38 |
| | How annoying. I got this on my "help evaluate this" list but there wasn't anything useful I could do to it. The word "evaluate" is being used for several different functions. Accept/reject and comment are two.

| | Hi Una,
There are 2 kinds of evaluations.
The first one for the experts (like you). In your case, it is the list of english translations to be evaluated.
The second one for the "normal" members. It's a list of polls requested by experts on some translations to be evaluated. On this list you just have to vote yes or no. This list is built depending on the langauges you can read (in your profile).
Is it clear ? CC: Una Smith |

| | Instead of "evaluate", how about "rate" for what experts can do and "vote" for what members can do? |
| | 17 August 2007 20:00 |
| | Yeah. I agree. These are the terms we (cucumaddicts) often use.
|
| | 17 August 2007 20:14 |
| | Yep why not
You mean for example changing on the left menu "Translations to be evaluated" by something like "Translations to rate" ? |
| | 17 August 2007 22:30 |
| | I don't know - I think "evaluate" is the correct term, because sometimes something has to be done to them before we can give them an accept/reject score, so we're not just rating them.
But I agree that the other thing should be called "voting". |
