| | Thank you everyone! I missed the "neden" - I must have been sleepy. annabel_lee, I took out the word "still", but it sounds really strange in English without it - it would sound better with "still" and without "but" - would that be OK? This is the meaning of "still" = "yet", not "after a long time". |

| | "Tu n'a jamais pitié de moi" is in the past. The translation is in the present. "je t'aime encore beaucoup" = I still love you very much

| | Kafetzou,
You forgot to translate the word "encore": "...but I still love you very much..." |

| | Argggghhh! I was translating the original Turkish, and I originally put in the word "still" because it sounded better in English, but then one of the Turkish speakers said that there was no "still" in the Turkish, so I took it out (please see the discussion above).
Anyway, I'm going to put "still" or "anyway" back in because it now sounds awful in English. |

| | "Tu n'a jamais pitié de moi" is not in the past, chrysso91. The verb is "avoir" and the object is "pitié". |

| | You're right kafetzou! I'm sorry! I thought pitié was the past tense of a verb "pitier" which does not exist! I am really sorry!! |
| | 6 juli 2007 18:13 |
| | No problem, chrysso91 - it was an understandable mistake.
samanthalee, could you please validate this translation? CC: samanthalee |

1) Your first sentence is not correct English. It must begin with "Why do ...?"
2) In both sentences, you've put in the word "never" but it's not there in the original Turkish. |
