	houtari Antal inlägg: 15	The word 'tavata' is used when you meet someone in person - just like the 'nice to see you' in english implies. The original text doesn't imply anything regarding the meantioned connection. It could be a family relation, she could have friends there that she regularly keeps in touch with or she could sometimes have spent some time in Finland. Anything really but I guess those are the most common connections a person can have.

	Maribel Antal inlägg: 871	Translation to english is good. Have already discussed with Francky about the "relations" which he confirmed to be ok even with other connections (not only of family type). (I should think here the meaning is rather other than family connection, guess it would have been said in another way in that case...)

About meeting, they really do see face to face, it happens now (or perhaps even in the future - we do not have future tense in our language).

	houtari Antal inlägg: 15	Come to think of it. "Nice to MEET you" would be an even more accurate translation, but since the translation has allready been accepted I think I can't change it anymore.
