I think that "Mon chéri j'ai été trop injuste envers toi" means "my love, I was very unfair to you".

Let's don't forget that this is a "meaning only" translation. So "I grieved you a lot, I've been unfair to you, and so on, have the same meaning, it tells about the same kind of apologies.
What we could do, if taino hasn't got anything against it, is to edit the beginning of the text with what kfeto said in his 25 August 2008 06:14 post, that will give :
