Hello kfeto, I think it's better "hurt" than "stomp", and "in this world" or "in this field" than "around here".
And "çok ama çok" is more emphatic than "a lot of".

a lot of can be used here though cok ama cok is more emphatic than regular cok. im open to better suggestions. the slight effect on meaning i a fair tradeof with a fluent text in english

If it has to be emphasized that there were a lot of hurt hearts...what about:

"Kemal stomped on too many hearts around here." ?

Yes "too many" is close to "çok ama çok", lilian.
