Lasta Afiŝo | | | | | 22 Junio 2008 03:28 | | | Hi Kfeto,
I don't read Turkish, but I see that "yok" must mean "no", right?
But could it be: "No, not friends"?
Also, "I've been saying it from the beginning that this won't work like this."
In this sentence either you remove "it" , so it would read:
"I've been saying from the beginning that this won't work like this."
or "that" and put a colon:
"I've been saying it from the beginning: this won't work like this."
Which one conveys better? | | | 22 Junio 2008 03:39 | | kfetoNombro da afiŝoj: 953 | hi Lilian
no, it couldn't. | | | 22 Junio 2008 03:42 | | | | | | 22 Junio 2008 04:16 | | kfetoNombro da afiŝoj: 953 | yok means no or none(as in "i have no friends" )
degil(is not) would be used to say "we are not friends"
and then you also have -siz as in "i am without friends"
and then finally :-) hayir is the polite way of answering no |
