It's a bit weird at the end with that "everything/all", that is not connected with the other parts of the sentence at all...
By "dark" I mean "darkness", which has nothing to do with sunset.
The last sentence is weirdly composed and it's not clear what the author meant. I've translated it literally. It does not make sense in Bulgarian too.
