Title
Nec sine virtute amicitia esse potest
Text
Submitted by deean04
Source language: Latinh

Title
Friendship
Dịch
English

Translated by Angelus
Target language: English

Therefore friendship is nothing other than perfect agreement on all divine and human things, joined to kindliness and affection; and I ask myself if the excepted wisdom is not the best that has ever been given to man by the immortal gods. Some prefer riches, some good health, some power, some honor, many prefer even pleasures.
Those who place the greatest good in virtue make an admirable decision, as this very virtue creates and preserves friendship and friendship cannot by any means exist without virtue.

I changed "else" to "other" - what is "and than this"?

Shouldn't it be "accepted wisdom"? Also, "nor" does not work in the last sentence, because the first part of it is not negative.
