jag kollade upp ordet "pedido" och fick fram "order" (på engelska) vilket borde översättas --> "beställning".

Actually, the original is poorly written. It should have been:
"Oi! meu nome é E. e estou fazendo uma solicitação/ um pedido"

Let me explain. In portuguese, like in English we have the verb "Solicitar" = to request, and the phrase "Hacer uma solicitação" = to make a request

The user mixed both (causing redundance) like if in English she had written:
"I'm requesting a request" See what I mean?

Although "pedido" may also mean "order", that's not the case, here it means "request".
Perhaps "begäran" would be better.

För att förtydliga: jag uppfattar "förfrågan" som en mer frivillig handling, det kräver inget gensvar, däremot "begäran" kräver svar alt./ handling.

If the original was "Oi! meu nome é E. e estou fazendo uma solicitação/ um pedido", she was just giving two options for the same thing.
"Beställning" is a quite fair translation.
