professor XY, in my whole time as a student to this day I have never cheated. I will also never cheat from this day forward. I do not understand how I ended up in such a situation. You were next to me throughout the exam if I had cheated you would definitely have seen. please help me. | | Literally the address is "Mr. Professor Dr.", but we don't say that in English. I have left the punctuation and capitalization pretty much as is. |

Najnovije poruke | | | | | 27 lipanj 2007 15:52 | | | kafetzou, just a question, by curiosity, do they NEVER use capital letters with names in Turkey? | | | 27 lipanj 2007 15:53 | | | No. They always do. There is no capitalization in this text at all. | | | 27 lipanj 2007 22:01 | | | Hello, lefke, could I know why you refused this translation? | | | 27 lipanj 2007 22:59 | | | Franck: We use capital letters, sure This is a bit sloppy about grammar.
I checked the translation and I think only one mistake, if I am right about the meaning of "end up".
He/she says: "karşı karşıya kaldım". It means "to face", or "to experience". As far as I know "end up" means "to make something finish". If I am right, you should change this part. Or it is ok. | | | 28 lipanj 2007 09:50 | | | Francky, about the private message you sent me. Actually hte translation is not rejected, it's only the submitter who request rejection, but we can accept it anyway.
If I understand what says Yolcu, once the translation is edited, we can accept it.
CC: Francky5591 kafetzou | | | 28 lipanj 2007 15:29 | | | Hi Yolcu
Actually, "end up" means "find myself in the situation" - it has nothing to do with finishing, so I still think it's correct. It gives the feeling that this thing happened to him and he has no idea how it happened.
I don't think it needs to be edited. | | | 29 lipanj 2007 01:59 | | | | | | 5 listopad 2007 23:24 | | | The requester gave me a message and said he wants this request deleted.
