Cheesecake, I was trying to find a way of putting the last sentence in natural-sounding Dutch. Would 'I just hope you will be happy' capture the meaning?

There is no word "hope" in the original, so I don't think it would be right to use it. I think this way, using "wish", sounds better: "From now on, I just wish you happiness".
