Why did you wrote "him" in capital letters?

When referring to God (that's what we suppose here) we always use caps for He, Him, etc

only reason ==> sole meaning

'sens' means 'sense' or 'meaning'. 'Reason' doesn't have the right meaning here.

And 'sole' just sounds better with this context.

Translation is OK, if the writer actually means God. There is no indication that it is, though. This is merely the assumption of the translator. It might also be Babaji, some African guru or anyone else for that matter...
Therefore I would sugest NOT to write 'him' in capitals.

If there is no capital letter in the original text, why should it be in the translation?

I agree with jollyo ... we can't be sure that this is about God, so it should not be with C-letters.

We live for him. We die for him. That explains the unique sense to our lives.

reason = meaning = sense
oppure in inglese non esistono i sinonimi????

1. "Live" doesn't require a plural! As well as in French, the German text is singular.

Our lives : "nos vies"
Our live_ : "notre vie"

2. Why a majuscule in "Him" ? There is none in the original text.

The rest is OK.

Mourgan's answer:

"Dans un sens, disons plutôt une divinité, j'ai emprunté cette citation à une série."

What do you think Francky?

So if it is some deity, caps can be used, as not only god from the Christians or Muslims is to be treated this way, all the deities are to be considered by their worshipers as above them (thus use of the caps). That's what I think personaly, look, when I post in direction of jp, I say "JP"

You are right Francky!

I'll start addressing jp as JP too!

For the original, then, I guess you'd better correct it and all this will be over.
