In the translation it appears as question, but I see it more like a "desire to make to other one understand" ^_^... instead of "vero" I would see smth like "do you understand me", "do you get what I mean", "you know" --> "comprendi", "vedi", even "capisci" or "lo sai", this is how I understand the last part. | | |

Yes, I agree with you: canções - canzoni. I am not sure about the last line though..."ter na mão" would be the right one for "avere in mano" and as for "fruta do pé do fundo de quintal" - have in hands the fruit of ... from the backyard. *pé - foot O.o *, this is why I would rather leave the last line to Lilian to explain the meaning of it. | | |
