thanks for your suggestions. I like the first one a lot . I have some doubts about the second one though -- in fact now that I see it better I have doubts for my translation as well. The original suggests that we are already in the process of finishing, perhaps "At last we 're getting finished"? Any suggestion will be more than welcome. I suppose that we can use "we'll have finished" in lack of anything closer to the original, after all it's a "meaning only" translation.
It seemed to me that both lines were about something that was going to happen in a few days.
They were not finished yet, that's why I suggested "will" for them.
Now I think that perhaps you can use something like: "We are finally getting to the end"
In just a few days we will reach the 2-digit numbers. We are finally getting to the end. A long but also a short road.
