"sine nimias postulationes et exspectationes de me"?
Could you explain me what did you want to say?
(sine + abl, so why "nimias", etc?)

Dear Ernst,
Thank you so much for the bridge! I've got just one little doubt. Could you say 'without being tight on demands and expectations on me' in other words? I'm not sure I understood.
CC: Bamsa | | | 15 September 2011 17:37 | | | Hi dear Aneta I am not sure how to say it in other words, but I will try:
without being conditioned (tighten) by demands and expectations from me. | | | 15 September 2011 17:55 | | | Hi Ernst. As usual I pop in. What about:'without being confined to" or perhaps better: 'without being bound of to'. I don't think htat 'conditioned'
gives the rigt interpretation.
What do you think Ernst? | | | 15 September 2011 19:34 | | | Thank you, dear friends for your efforts.
However, do you mean that no more demands nor expectations are put on me? | | | 15 September 2011 23:51 | | | No not exactly, Aneta. To make it short: he will win and all he expects is to be happy 'without being
ound up with demands.........
But yes, why not, it could be said the way you do: He doesn't want anyone to put any demands or expectations on him just happiness.
Clever girl. CC: Bamsa | | | 16 September 2011 00:24 | | |
I think I got it: "free from any expectations and demands of me". Am I close? | | | 16 September 2011 02:49 | | | | | | 16 September 2011 19:24 | | | Thanks, Lene!

Hello Serena,
I've seen you had made some corrections. It seems to convey the source now.
I just have one more suggestion, if you don't mind:
"Et cum vicerim, merces beatitudo erit".
Tell me, pls, whether you agree or not.
| | | 16 September 2011 20:10 | | | I do agree for sure!
