I think it shouldn't be like your suggestion because if it were like this, the sentence would be:

-...yapılan açıklamaları hatırlamanızda size daha sonra yardımcı olacaktır.

As "daha sonra" is the adjective of "explanations", I think we should keep the translation like this.
