| | I don't understand too much why you say this translation isn't good, because this is what it exactly means in French. So could you explain? |
| | 19 Mars 2007 14:25 |
| | It's been changed since it was first posted, so I don't know which version people have been posting their opinions about.
Now it's wrong again, because "the darkness" is incorrect in English. It either needs to be "the dark" (meaning places without light), or "darkness" (meaning evil). |

| | Darkness is evil? we live in the Dark Ages?
please, can you translate to french "the building was in complete darkness"? |
| | 19 Mars 2007 15:00 |
| | Aha - good point, pirulito, but in this context (with "angel" , it means "evil". So which is it for "as trevas"? I don't speak Portuguese. |

| | Sorry, teacher. It was very rude of me (fue muy grosero de mi parte).
|
| | 19 Mars 2007 15:06 |
| | So, I hope "angel of darkness" will satisfy everybody? |
| | 19 Mars 2007 15:35 |
| | darkness ['dɑ:knɪs] : escuridade, escuridão, trevas.
The word “trevas†(f. plural) means darkness (escuridade or escuridão) and its connotation is evil too. My translation in Latin is “angelinus tenebrarumâ€. The “Anjinho das Trevas†is an evil spirit, a little angel of darkness.
Francky, je suis d'accord! |

| | WOW! it is a never ending evaluation? What's wrong now with this so short text?
Should I edit with "little angel of the dark"?
This is a ranked battle between 15 for and 8 against , there must be a "consensus" mode on that short one, isn't it? |
| | 19 Mars 2007 15:46 |
| | pirulito, thank you for the information - that was what I needed to know. I have accepted the translation. |
| | 19 Mars 2007 15:48 |
| | Sorry, pirulito, I didn't see your last note before posting mine, fine! good work folks!
To the next one, cheers! |
