תרגום - נורווגית-אנגלית - Takk for da gamla

I need to know what does gamla mean!

It is used together with "Godt nytt år å.." to form an expression like "Happy new year and thanks for the old one".

Please note that i'm swedish but norska (norwegian) is a language quite similar to swedish.
