Chewing gum in her mouth, blowing bubbles
Bursting them, insolently
Did we learn this from our fathers
We were a disgrace to everyone
A new custom arrived to the old village, alas!
Friends, we were lost!

You the nutcracker
Getting the snake from out of it's hole
My big disgrace
If I catch you…

Hi

Following an explanation by Turkishmiss, I have edited this translation after it has already been validated.

She told me she translated the wrong tense in English for:

"Friends, we are lost!"

Which should read "Friends we were lost"

Also the word "nutcracker" here in English does not convey much. From what I have understood in the discussion on the French version, calling someone a "nutcracker" in Turkish means that they are a seductress.

Maybe we shoud fix this problem too in case someone uses the English version as a bridge?
