Snowboard, är en vintersport där man åker utför i en snötäckt backe på en bräda som liknar en bred skida. Åkandet påminner mera om att åka surfingbräda eller skateboard än att åka slalomskidor.

Hi Pia,

There are some flaws we'll have to correct here.
I'll enhance them OK?

Snowboard, is a winter sport in which one goes down a snow-covered hill on a board similar to a ski. The ride reminds more a surfboard or skateboard ride than slalom skiing.

What do you think?

Thank you Lilian, I appreciate it!

There is one important thing missing, "bred skida", I wrote "broad ski", but maybe "wide ski" is better?

What about : "...board a bit larger than a ski."?

I think that would work.
It would sound weird saying : a board similar to a "wide ski" since there's not such a thing, I mean: a wide ski.
