Josef ben Jenebro | Remarks about the translation | Also could be "djenebro", or "gienebro" the sound made by the "gimmel" and the "iud" rather is like "J" or "Dj", but could be also "italian sounding" like "Gi"... Translation has been requested into Brasilian-Portuguese, and I thing this is useless, as names aren't to be translated, except into other types of writing, like Arab or Chinese, or Hindi, etc...

I think that originally the guy wanted to know what it meant, if he doesn't know to read Hebrew, he just wanted to know how it sounded like. Now that he knows, and as you said, I think that it had no other interest than maybe curiosity for you. And it is me who had writen the meaning of it under the Hebrew name, in the comments frame.
