I have one more question: What's the difference between "получил" and "получал"? | | | 31 August 2009 14:34 | | | получил(Ñовершенный вид), получал(неÑовершенный вид)I don't know the english equivalents to these terms, but it's nearly like Perfect and none-Perfect forms(but not the same!)In this case it's more like "получал" | | | 31 August 2009 15:53 | | | Hi )
One by one...
If the person is a woman:
- formal version is "Ð’Ñ‹ получили мой имейл <...> еÑли вы его не получали. ПожалуйÑта, ответьте."
- informal version is "Ты получила мой имейл <...> еÑли Ñ‚Ñ‹ его не получила. ПожалуйÑта, ответь."
Then, there is no such word in russian as е-мÑйл, only имейл or Ñлектронное пиÑьмо for e-mail. I cheked the dictionaries, both english and russians ))
I have some hesitations about this part "I am attaching the original e-mail below" after Natalia's post. So, I'll put her translation in another words in english, so the author can clear the meaning for us. She proposed the following "I'm attaching my current e-mail adress, if you didn't get it". | | | 31 August 2009 16:50 | | | oh, and "получила" vs "получала".
Actually both can be translated into english in past simple "did you get", and both are correct for russian translation.
| | | 1 September 2009 07:13 | | | Siberia, thanks a lot for all the explanations.
By "I am attaching the original e-mail below" I wanted to say that I will attach my previous e-mail to the current one, so she can read it now (assuming she didn´t receive it before). | | | 2 September 2009 21:04 | | | "Ðе получИли", I think. |
