- I believe that, a bit like in French (but it wouldn't be used here), the Italian definite article "il" might both mean "the" in the sense of "just one" or "the" in the vague sense of "the drink called...". I assumed that just one glass would be offered, so I used the article "a". "a cup of coffee or glass of fruit juice" is possible, too, if you wan to be a bit more precise.
Note : if people can take more than on glass, just get rid of the article "a"
