I guess what we need to to here is to write the sound of the drum in Arabic alphabit, like:
با-رم-با-بام-بام
or:
دوم-تك-تك

I think the second one is better - it's closer to the original (and the shared culture).

sozana, the first part of your translation should go in the comments field, not in the translation field. And why did you add an extra "düm"?
