"Formal" también significa "inteligente" o "listo". Creía que "formal" significa solamente "serio"
Eso no lo sabía

formal

Pensabas bien, Freya, formal no significa listo, sino serio.

Does "formal" meant intelligent? That's the meaning of "smart" here.

"Formal" doesn't have to mean "serio". It can also mean someone who does things well, in the correct moment. "Cumplidor" could be a synonim for "formal".

I would translate the english "smart" with "elegante" or "bien puesto". What do you think?

Mireia, the English translation has already been accepted and therefore is right, "smart" means intelligent here, as some members have pointed out. Please change "formal" because it doesn't fit with the English version.

I'd use "inteligente"

I think it's "cumpleaño" without "s"

Why would you think that, Nadia? Maybe you liken it to the Italian word.
