It's from a song and a bit hard to explain, it's not that the French translation is wrong it's just that it's one of those local things that's kinda hard to translate in one precise way. It's a combination of "I like remembering you" and "C'est avec plaisir que je me souviens de toi"... which is why I'd leave the French as it is. Perhaps lakil has a different opinion?
