non potrò fare ciò come mi pare. Sembrava che molte cose si dovessero dire sulla letteratura latina. Ad alcuni sembra che io sia stato felice. a me non sembrava che tu avessi abbastanza coraggio.
I won't be able to do as I would like to. It seemed that many things should be said about Latin literature. It seems to some people I was happy. It didn't seem to me you were brave enough.

It will pass in English, however the first line is awkward just the same. What makes it so is the word "that" in the sentence "I won't to be able to do that as I like to do it".
Possible alternatives which are less awkward in English:
I won't be able to do as I like to.
I won't be able to do as I would have liked to.
I won't be able to do that as I would have liked to do it.
I won't be able to do that as I would like to.
And so on. But it is good enough as it stands to be put to a vote.
