1) the word "the": We only use that if the situations being referred to are known to the reader - is that the case here?
2) the tense of "force": Is this a general statement, which is always true? If so, this is OK. If not, maybe it should be "are forcing", if it's talking about the current situation. CC: iepurica | | |

As per "the situations" here I am not 100 per cent sure, but I suppose it is more correct if is only "situations".
PS.Milla wrote there, in the end: "Detta är ett citat" in Sweedish, which, if I'm not mistaken, means "this is a quote", maybe this helps somehow.
