| | Hi Cheesecake and Merdogan,
But doesn't "what was inside" sound too direct?..I thought my translation of this phrase explains more what is above the words.
Maybe this way it will be better to translate: "would you see how I felt?"

| | Hi Sunnybebek, yes what you say might be right but I guess it is too much interpretation in it, with the way you say. So "what was inside" doesn't necessarily mean 'what is inside my eye (physically)' instead, it can be understood that something metaphorical, so it's not too direct,I think. |

| | Hi girls
What about:
...would you hear what they say? |

| | Hmm in my opinion it is right as a meaning, but it's out of the original text. I think "what was inside" is the best and exact translation also otherwise it will be complicated to translate it into other languages. |

| | And I liked Lilian's suggestion. Yes it is out of the original text, but I think it's more important to convey the meaning. |

| | I'm sure you will have the right suggestion, Laura. CC: kafetzou |

| | How about, "... would you see what there was inside them?"? |
